Content Research Intern

Nology Media is a fast-paced social media marketing agency based in Downtown Seattle. We are currently looking for a Content Research Intern to work onsite as a member of our team.

Job Summary:

The Content Research Intern will be responsible for identifying credible resources, qualifying content and placing research into context on a per industry basis. The Intern will be responsible for maintaining and updating a bank of resources, organizing facts and figures and must be able to understand complex concepts and trends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Quickly scan and identify key content resources through the noise of irrelevant content
  • Develop a qualification process for all content resources to be used in marketing activities
  • Organize large quantities of information efficiently
  • Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature
  • Draw connections and conclusions from diverse information sources and place in context of marketing efforts
  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with multiple project-based teams
  • Clearly communicate conclusions, questions and business goals with team members on projects
  • Independently take initiative on assigned tasks and projects
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills with out of the box solutions
  • Meet deadlines dictated by supervisor
  • Contribute gained knowledge in team discussions on topic

Minimum Requirements

Education: Currently enrolled in school or graduated with a BA in English, Communication, Marketing, Business or other relevant degree.

Required Experience: 2-5 years of experience working in a fast paced, team environment
