Yesterday, we learned that Steve Jobs, the man behind Apple and the iProducts that changed the world, had passed away. Here at the office, the news was broken by a single, startling Tweet. Then, within minutes, the entire Twitterverse was flooded with comments of his passing and praise for his lifelong accomplishments. He was labeled a genius, a legend, a visionary. Inspirational quotes by Jobs also began circulating: “Have the courage to follow your heart.” and “Because the people who think they are crazy enough to change the world are the ones who do.” and “Stay hungry. Stay foolish.” Hashtags have sprouted up: #thankyousteve, and #isad.

The Nology office runs on Apple products and we have always viewed Mr. Jobs as an inspiration for innovation. Our CEO, Leigh Fatzinger, especially considered Jobs a personal hero. Seattle’s King5 News featured a tribute to Steve Jobs last night and included commentary by Leigh:
